The business of coffee roasting
After fresh grinding my coffee at home for years, I wanted to learn more about how this black magic makes it into every cup. I started reading up on how varietal, processing and roasting all impact taste. Naturally, I wanted to try my hand at roasting myself.
After sharing this interest with a friend while we frequently visit local shops and talking all things coffee, adventure, and motorcycles. We decided to pick up a small electric sample roaster to get our own experience. We were instantly hooked, demanding more output than our little Behmor could handle.
