Clients & Integration

Demonstrating continuous value

Healthcare professionals have an extremely challenging working situation utilizing many disparate systems. Knowing this upfront, Quil has to take a measured approach to get provider adoption and proven value. Together with the product and engineering leads, I helped establish a roadmap and plan for growing our plan provider platform.

Without any partners, our first priority was building a standalone application so our sales and leadership team could use it for demonstrations and onsite enrollment first.

Prototype:Stand Alone Client application

Since integrating into our clients' workstreams would be critical, we planned our architecture, UI & APIs accordingly so they could be utilized later into the backbone of our strategy.

Roadmap Summary

The core of our stand-alone app was designed responsively and to work as the foundation for our Epic Smart/FHIR App. The provider team members can invite users directly from Epic or view their patient's journey progress.

Additionally, we worked closely with our provider technology administrators to receive and process daily CSV files to completely automate the providers' involvement in the invitation process.

Currently

We now use the filters same filters and events they used to generate their reports as the a starting point for us to do the same processing in realtime with HL7 - SIU events for which I have been partnering with our technology team to build a configurable ui for us as we expand our serice lines with our clients.

Whats Next

We are working on processing other ADT message types within our integrations and along with doing additional discovery work to do a similar execution into Cerner EHR
